I’m heading into a fresh life!

fresh diet day 1

After much time, thought and consideration for my health and wellness I decided a few weeks ago it was time to jump back on the “healthy eating bandwagon,” not that I had gone “hog wild” and eaten everything in sight, we all know that I am an emotional eater and the last year had been pretty emotional for me with unloading old baggage and dealing with my panic and anxiety so it is safe to say that at times I wasn’t the most careful. But that is all in the past… one day at a time and I am moving forward.

I looked for a program which would be both healthy and tasty, as I really do enjoy eating and don’t look at it as a chore. I have “done” prepackaged “diets” and to be honest the food tastes an awful lot like dull, awful airplane food. I came across THE fresh diet at the Washington Metropolitan food show, of all places, a show which features The Food Network Chefs and also had a lot of food vendors. I actually didn’t stop at their booth but they definitely caught my eye. A few weeks later I received a pamphlet in the mail with “end of the year specials” from THE fresh diet and I thought, hm-mm. So I did a little research and found out that the company was conceived by a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, so I thought the food “had” to taste somewhat good! Another important factor to me at the moment was due to my “panicking” in the car while  driving this program is delivered right to my home! Now I’m thinking good taste and home delivery… what do I have to loose?

I will be writing about this daily and taking photos all of my wonderful food choices, oh yes, did I forget to mention that you have a choice of 4 entrees per meal? Choices… Taste… Convenience…. Well 2012 here we go with a “fresh life”
