Day 18: Create a Sneeze Page

Good Morning Ladies! Happy Wednesday. Here we are at Day 18. There has been some discussion about “what comes next” as I wrote yesterday, so if you are interested in keeping our group together after the 31days to continue and support each other with going over days that were important and coming up with new challenges; the Zen master keeps them coming! And perhaps give each other a chance to “spotlight” one and others blogs leave your email in your comment today and your twitter URL with a “YES! I want to continue on weekly once we finish the 31 days.” Now onto the day’s event…

Key Concepts

A sneeze page is a concept ProBlogger came up with as a strategy to direct readers deeper into a blog by highlighting previously written posts. You can create a sneeze page with posts revolving around a single theme or a period of time. By promoting it prominently on your homepage, you can develop another opportunity for people to link within your site.

Questions:

1) Have you created a sneeze page before and if so has it been successful in driving traffic to other parts of your blog?

2) What type of sneeze page do you see yourself creating if you haven’t done on before?

Update: *I’d like to thank the lovely ladies of SITS whose site hosted our Problogger Winter 31 Day Challenge. At the completion of our challenge we had 48 posts on this day’s task on the SITS site’s forum.

If you are just joining us “welcome” and feel free to answer the questions here and leave a link to your post if you wrote one and we can keep the party going!
